By this point, it was driving more referral traffic than Google+, Youtube, and LinkedIn. For a social network remaining under the radar for the marketing industry, these are numbers that can?t be ignored.?

OK, so if the demographics mainly point to the female population, who of my clients should I be steering towards this Social Media platform? Well, duh, how about my MedSpa client who is all about helping mostly women maintain, or regain, their youthful attractive appearance with Botox, hot waxing & SmartLipo. It?s a perfect marriage of personal attractiveness, visible branding, education and local exposure.

But, how else can Pinterest make money? Has anyone heard of Etsy? Etsy is a social commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items as well as art and craft supplies. If you have an Etsy shop or sell products elsewhere, you can pin them to your board and tag them that they?re for sale just by putting the dollar amount somewhere in the description of the pin. Combining Pinterest with Etsy is a ?no brainer? to me of a winning combination.

George Zimmerman Police Video: No Signs of Injury, Blood After Trayvon Martin Shooting

Police surveillance video footage of George Zimmerman hours after he shot Trayvon Martin does not appear to show any injuries or bloodstains on the man who claims he killed the Florida teen in self defense February 26.

His attorney says the video is too grainy to be revealing, however.

The footage, obtained by ABC News late Wednesday, shows the handcuffed Zimmerman getting out of the police car, unaided, and walking into the police station where he was escorted after the shooting in Sanford, Fla. Watch:

In the police tape, taken about four hours after the deadly incident, there are no visible signs of injuries to Zimmerman's head or blood on his clothes.

However, he is wearing a red jacket, which could obscure a lot.

Zimmerman's attorney Craig Sonner described the video as "very grainy" on NBC's Today, noting that Zimmerman had been "cleaned-up" and received first aid care in the hours between the incident and his arrival at the police station.

Sonner previously said that his client suffered a broken nose and a gash to his head during the altercation in which he says Zimmerman feared for his life.

Appearing on CNN Wednesday, Martin family lawyer Benjamin Crump called the video “the smoking gun,” proving the self-defense allegation is not true.

“I think the video speaks for itself. You don’t see any broken nose. You don’t see any blood on his head. You don’t see any stuff on the back of his clothes."

"You have to ask why did this police chief, state attorney and now this acting police chief conspire to protect George Zimmerman for killing this unarmed teenager?"

A neighborhood watch volunteer, Zimmerman was released without being charged. The Trayvon Martin case has since become a national obsession.

Richard Kurtz, the funeral director who prepared Martin's body, was asked if there were any signs on his hands that the victim had punched someone.

"The only thing that I was able to see was the gunshot wound," Kurtz told MSNBC. "I could not see evidence like he had been punching somebody."

"It just did not add up to me."

The self-defense claim clearly deserves scrutiny, but whether this is sufficient proof that there was no struggle is something investigators must determine.

Unless it's an emergency, drivers who talk on their cellphones -- even hands-free -- in Chapel Hill, North Carolina will face a $25 fine, but the first town in the U.S. to impose this kind of ban may be overstepping its authority with the state.

On Monday, the town council voted 5-4 in favor of an ordinance that prohibits any kind of cellphone use while driving.

NBC17 reported that this ruling, however, may exceed the town's jurisdiction.?The state's assistant Attorney General Jess D. Mekeel wrote in a letter that the state "has preemptive authority to regulate the use of mobile phones by motorists within the state of North Carolina. It is my opinion that an ordinance by the Town of Chapel Hill regulating motorists? use of cell phones is preempted by State law and, therefore, unenforceable."

Chapel Hill's town attorney disagrees with that interpretation, NBC17 said.

I've reached out to the town council and mayor, and will update if and when we hear from them. I called Ed Harrison, the council member who cast the deciding vote (and who was absent during the first stalemate vote earlier this month). He declined to comment.

Chapel Hill has a population of more than 51,000 and covers 21.1 square miles, with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as one of its major employers.

The ban would begin June 1 and has already ignited a local firestorm. Some took their elected officials to task via emails, which are available at the council's website. Here's an excerpt from one objection to the decision:

I think we all agree that texting, putting on make-up, shaving, stuffing a big sandwich in your mouth (dashboard dining), talking on a hand-held cellphone, messing with a radio or a GPS device, while driving are all distracting. Interestingly, some of these will still be legal come June 1 in the great town of Chapel Hill. If you truly believed that hands-free cellphone is so dangerous, why would talking to your parent, spouse, or children (the exceptions you made) make it less dangerous. Or how about talking to your fellow passengers? Can we all just use some common sense and repeal this ruling.

I consider myself a liberal and progressive but this ruling went too far. All I could think of was Jessie Helms comment about putting a fence around our town. You just made us look like extreme and fringe lunatics. Thank you for that.

Those who opposed the ban also pointed to the difficulty of enforcing the ban on the town's roads and the cost of such vigilance.?

And then, there were messages like this, in support of the ban:

I am well aware of the studies that show that the use of cellphones (hand-held AND hands-free) is as detrimental to good driving as driving drunk, but many people are not. It's not just texting that's a problem --- even conversations on a hands-free device are distracting. I avoid driving when the bars close because I try to limit my encounters with drunk ?drivers, but I cannot do the same with cellphone using drivers. They are everywhere.

Even though this ban might be difficult to enforce, the same was probably true of the seat belt law when it was new. I know people who now wear their seat belts specifically because of the existence of the law. Please do the same for cell phone use, and make the roads safer for all of us.

For those who support the ordinance, one clause will probably rankle them. It won't be considered a primary offense, in that drivers won't be pulled over just for talking on their phones -- it could be added on if the driver is stopped for another offense.

Autism rates up due to wider screening, better diagnosis, CDC says ...

Autism cases are on the rise again, largely due to wider screening and better diagnosis, federal health officials said Thursday. The rate of U.S. cases of autism and related disorders rose to about 1 in 88 children. The previous estimate was 1 in 110.

The new figure is from the latest in a series of studies that have been steadily increasing the government's autism estimate. This new number means autism is nearly twice as common as officials said it was only five years ago, and likely affects roughly 1 million U.S. children and teens.

Health officials attribute the increase largely to better recognition of cases, through wide screening and better diagnosis. But the search for the cause of autism is really only beginning, and officials acknowledge that other factors may be helping to drive up the numbers.

"We're not quite sure the reasons for the increase," said Coleen Boyle of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Autism is diagnosed by making judgments about a child's behavior; there are no blood or biologic tests. For decades, the diagnosis was given only to kids with severe language and social impairments and unusual, repetitious behaviors. The definition of autism has gradually expanded, and "autism" is now shorthand for a group of milder, related conditions, including Asperger's syndrome. Meanwhile, there's been an explosion in autism-related treatment and services for children.

As in the past, advocacy groups seized on the new numbers as further evidence that autism research and services should get greater emphasis. The new figures indicate "a public health emergency that demands immediate attention," said Geraldine Dawson, chief science officer for the advocacy group Autism Speaks.

The CDC study released Thursday is considered the most comprehensive U.S. investigation of autism prevalence to date. Researcher gathered data from areas in 14 states ? Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah and Wisconsin.

They looked specifically at 8-year-old children because most autism is diagnosed by that age. They checked health and school records to see which children met the criteria for autism, even if they hadn't been formally diagnosed. Then, the researchers calculated how common autism was in each place and overall.

An earlier report based on 2002 findings estimated that about 1 in 150 children that age had autism or a related disorder such as Asperger's. After seeing 2006 data, the figure was revised to about 1 in 110. The estimate released Thursday, based on 2008 data, is 1 in 88.

The study also found that autism disorders were almost five times more common in boys. And that an increasingly large proportion of children with autism have IQs of 85 or higher ? a finding that contradicts a past assumption that most autistic kids had IQs of 70 or lower.

Also, higher autism rates were found in some places than others. For example in Utah, as many as 1 in 47 of the 8-year-olds had an autism spectrum disorder. In New Jersey, 1 in 49 did.

Alabama was at the other end the scale, with only about 1 in 210 identified as autistic. The difference was attributed to less information out of Alabama. Researchers were not able to access school information in that state and a few others, and as a result believe they have a less complete picture.

That's a reasonable explanation, said Zachary Warren, director of an autism treatment and research institute at Vanderbilt University.

"How you go looking for something is going to affect what you find," he said.

In the early 1990s, only a few out of every 10,000 children were diagnosed with the condition, based on some small studies in individual states or cities. But the numbers began to change dramatically after 2000, when Congress directed federal health officials to do more autism research, and CDC started the larger study to see how common autism is.

CDC is also studying the cause of autism, which has remained a mystery.

Genetics is believed to play a role. Some parents and others have believed childhood vaccines trigger autism, even though many studies have not found a connection.

CDC researchers are looking at other possible factors, including illnesses that mothers had while they were pregnant with children who later were diagnosed as autistic. The researchers also are looking into medications that the pregnant women took and those given to their children took when they were young. The first results of that study are expected next year.

Level 42 to headline Isle of Wight Radio's Jubilee Garden Party ...

An all-Island music and family fun extravaganza, headlined by chart-topping, home-grown talent Level 42, is to be staged by the Island?s favourite radio station this summer (Monday 4 June, 2012).

The Isle of Wight Radio organised event will ensure families celebrate the Queen?s Diamond Jubilee in style ? with all things Isle of Wight, from food to music and entertainment.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? The heart of the Obama administration's health care overhaul hanging in the balance, the Supreme Court is turning to whether the rest of the law can survive if the crucial individual insurance requirement is struck down.

The justices also will spend part of Wednesday, the last of three days of arguments over the health law, considering a challenge by 26 states to the expansion of the Medicaid program for low-income Americans, an important feature toward the overall goal of extending health insurance to an additional 30 million people.

The first two days of fast-paced and extended arguments have shown that the conservative justices have serious questions about Congress' authority to require virtually every American to carry insurance or pay a penalty.

The outcome of the case will affect nearly all Americans and the ruling, expected in June, also could play a role in the presidential election campaign. Obama and congressional Democrats pushed for the law's passage two years ago, while Republicans, including all the GOP presidential candidates, are strongly opposed.

But the topic the justices take up Wednesday only comes into play if they first find that the insurance mandate violates the Constitution. If they do, then they will have to decide if the rest of the law stands or falls.

The states and the small business group opposing the law say the insurance requirement is central to the whole undertaking and should take the rest of the law down with it.

The administration argues that the only other provisions the court should kill in the event the mandate is stricken are insurance revisions that require insurers to cover people regardless of existing medical problems and limit how much they can charge in premiums based on a person's age or health.

The federal appeals court in Atlanta that struck down the insurance requirement said the rest of the law can remain in place, a position that will be argued by a private lawyer appointed by the justices, H. Bartow Farr III.

On Tuesday, the conservative justices sharply and repeatedly questioned the validity of the insurance mandate.

If the government can force people to buy health insurance, justices wanted to know, can it require people to buy burial insurance? Cellphones? Broccoli?

The court focused on whether the mandate for Americans to have insurance "is a step beyond what our cases allow," in the words of Justice Anthony Kennedy.

"Purchase insurance in this case, something else in the next case," Chief Justice John Roberts said.

But Kennedy, who is often the swing vote on cases that divide the justices along ideological lines, also said he recognized the magnitude of the nation's health care problems and seemed to suggest they would require a comprehensive solution.

And Roberts also spoke about the uniqueness of health care, which almost everyone uses at some point.

"Everybody is in this market, so that makes it very different than the market for cars or the other hypotheticals that you came up with, and all they're regulating is how you pay for it," Roberts said, paraphrasing the government's argument.

Kennedy and Roberts emerged as the apparent pivotal votes in the court's decision.

The law envisions that insurers will be able to accommodate older and sicker people without facing financial ruin because the insurance requirement will provide insurance companies with more premiums from healthy people to cover the increased costs of care.

"If the government can do this, what else can it not do?" Justice Antonin Scalia asked. He and Justice Samuel Alito appeared likely to join with Justice Clarence Thomas, the only justice to ask no questions, to vote to strike down the key provision of the overhaul. The four Democratic appointees seemed ready to vote to uphold it.

Kennedy at one point said that allowing the government mandate would "change the relationship" between the government and U.S. citizens.

"Do you not have a heavy burden of justification to show authorization under the Constitution" for the individual mandate? asked Kennedy.

At another point, however, he also acknowledged the complexity of resolving the issue of paying for America's health care needs.

"I think it is true that if most questions in life are matters of degree ... the young person who is uninsured is uniquely proximately very close to affecting the rates of insurance and the costs of providing medical care in a way that is not true in other industries. That's my concern in the case," Kennedy said.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said she found the debate over health care similar to an earlier era's argument about the Social Security retirement system. How could Congress be able to compel younger workers to contribute to Social Security but be limited in its ability to address health care? she wondered.

"There's something very odd about that, that the government can take over the whole thing and we all say, Oh, yes, that's fine, but if the government wants to preserve private insurers, it can't do that," she said.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? For more than four decades, the powerful engines that helped boost the Apollo 11 mission to the moon have rested in the Atlantic. Now Internet billionaire and space enthusiast Jeff Bezos wants to raise at least one of them to the surface.

An undersea expedition spearheaded by Bezos used sonar to find what he said were the F-1 engines located 14,000 feet deep. In an online announcement Wednesday, the Amazon.com CEO and founder said he is drawing up plans to recover the sunken engines, part of the mighty Saturn V rocket that launched Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins on their moon mission.

The five engines, which produced nearly 7.7 million pounds of thrust, dropped into the sea as planned minutes after liftoff in 1969. Four days later, Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the moon.

"We don't know yet what condition these engines might be in," he wrote. "They hit the ocean at high velocity and have been in salt water for more than 40 years. On the other hand, they're made of tough stuff, so we'll see."

Bezos acknowledged the engines were the property of NASA, but said he hoped they will be displayed in museums.

NASA expressed excitement about the find. The space agency said it has not been formally contacted by Bezos and waited for more information.

"There has always been great interest in artifacts from the early days of space exploration and his announcement only adds to the enthusiasm of those interested in NASA's history," NASA spokesman Bob Jacobs said in a statement.

No timetable has been set for the recovery. When it happens, it'll undoubtedly take longer to hoist the 19-foot engines off the sea floor than the 2 1/2 minutes it took for them to power off the launch pad.

The sea floor is littered with spent rockets and flight parts from missions dating back to the dawn of the Space Age and it's unknown what survived decades later after crashing into the ocean.

In 2009, a private company salvaged Gus Grissom's Mercury capsule that accidentally sank in the Atlantic after splashdown in 1961. It was restored and displayed at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center.

Bezos' planned Apollo recovery is the latest deep-sea adventure by the wealthy. "Avatar" director James Cameron over the weekend rode a mini-sub to Earth's deepest spot in the western Pacific Ocean, seven miles below the surface, which he described as an alien world. Sir Richard Branson plans a similar dive to the deepest part of the Atlantic, the Puerto Rican trench, later this year.

Bezos was 5 years old when he watched the moon landing on television and became hooked on getting to space. NASA "sure inspired me, and with this endeavor, maybe we can inspire a few more youth to invent and explore," he wrote.

It was not immediately clear when Bezos' team spotted the Apollo engines. Bezos offered few details about the discovery and did not say how he knew the engines were from Apollo 11. The cost of the recovery was not disclosed, but Bezos said it will be done with private funds.

Amazon spokesman Drew Herdener said Bezos was not available for comment.

Bezos' Blue Origin has been developing a vertical takeoff and landing rocketship that would fly passengers to suborbital space. It has NASA funding to compete to go into orbit as a space taxi now that the space shuttle fleet is retired.

Last year, a test flight went awry when the vehicle became unstable at 45,000 feet and crashed.

Making car payment take priority, study finds

NEW YORK (AP) ? The recession and its hangover may have turned bill-paying habits upside down. Cash-strapped Americans are paying off their car loans before they pay credit card bills and make mortgage payments, a study finds.

It used to be that Americans would pay their home loans first, then their credit card and car loans. After all, homes have been the most valuable possession for most people for decades, and nobody wanted to jeopardize that.

But TransUnion, a credit information company, studied the payment patterns of 4 million Americans with at least one car loan, one credit card and a mortgage and found a clear priority for staying current on the car loan.

Among Americans who were late on payments last year, 39 percent were delinquent on the mortgage while current on the car loan and credit cards, and 17 percent were late on credit cards while current on the other two.

Only 10 percent were late on the car loan while current on the other two. When TransUnion first did the study in 2006, staying current on the mortgage was the priority, says Ezra Becker, the company's vice president of research and consulting.

"Today, most people need a car to get to a job or to look for a job, and that has made cars a priority," he says.

It hasn't helped that home prices keep falling while the mortgage remains by far the biggest payment for most people. The latest Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home price index found that prices in big cities had fallen to 2002 levels, down 34 percent from the peak.

There is also more leeway on the mortgage. Foreclosure can take two to three years. Cars can be repossessed 90 days after people stop paying.

Matt Saxton of Columbia, Md., was not surprised by the study's results. Saxton is on unpaid medical leave from work, recovering from spine surgery and relying on his savings.

Saxton says he dares not be late on his car payment and risk having his car repossessed. Instead, he's decided to be late on his credit cards and student loans.

"I can work with the credit card companies. They won't shut off or take away anything," says Saxton, who made a $474 payment this week. "I won't have the ability to get to work or even get another car if they repossess this one."

ScienceDaily (Mar. 26, 2012) ? The ripeness of fruit could determine how food-poisoning bacteria grow on them, according to scientists who recently presented their work at the Society for General Microbiology's Spring Conference in Dublin. Their work could lead to new strategies to improve food safety, bringing many health and economic benefits.

A wide range of fresh produce has been linked to outbreaks of Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica including melons, jalape?o and serrano peppers, basil, lettuce, horseradish sprouts and tomatoes. Researchers at Imperial College London are looking at how these bacterial pathogens latch onto fruits and vegetables and establish themselves in the first place.

They have discovered that strains of Salmonella behave differently when attached to ripe and unripe tomatoes. "Bacteria that attach to ripe tomatoes produce an extensive network of filaments, which is not seen when they attach to the surface of unripe tomatoes. This could affect how they are maintained on the surface," explained Professor Gad Frankel who is leading the research. "We are not completely sure yet why this happens; it might be due to the surface properties of the tomatoes or alternatively the expression of ripening hormones."

This is just one example of the subtle interplay between food-poisoning microbes and the fresh produce they contaminate, that determines how pathogens become established in the food chain. "Apart from Salmonella, strains of E. coli are also particularly devious in the way they interact with plant surfaces. They have hair-like appendages and flagella they can use as hooks to successfully secure themselves onto things like salad leaves."

Although fresh fruits and vegetables are recognized as important vehicles that transmit harmful bacteria, they are still important components of a healthy and balanced diet. "By and large, raw fruits and vegetables are safe to eat and provide numerous health benefits. By working out the reasons behind sporadic outbreaks of infections, we can control these better and help maintain consumer confidence. By improving food safety we would also see important economical and health benefits."

Understanding how bacteria interact with fresh produce is a crucial but only the first step, explained Professor Frankel. "Translating research into new policies or methods for decontamination is the challenge for future studies," he said.

Wade speaks out on shooting death of Florida teen

MIAMI (AP) ? Dwyane Wade and LeBron James were only a few miles away from Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, participating in the NBA All-Star game on the night the unarmed black teenager wearing a hooded sweatshirt was shot to death by a neighborhood crime-watch volunteer.

They never knew the teenager, but on Friday they decided it was time to speak out.

Wade posted a photo of himself from a previous photo shoot wearing a hooded shirt, otherwise known as a hoodie, to his Twitter and Facebook pages on Friday morning.

A couple hours later, James posted another photo ? this one of the Heat team, all wearing hoodies, their heads bowed, their hands stuffed into their pockets. The photo was taken at the team hotel, though it was not clear when it was snapped.

Among the hashtags James linked to the photo: "WeWantJustice." The National Basketball Players Association issued a statement saying it was saddened and horrified by the killing, and accused the police department in Sanford, Fla. ? where Martin was shot ? of "racial bias."

"As a father, this hits home," said Wade, who has 10- and 4-year-old sons.

Martin was killed as he was returning to a gated community, carrying candy and iced tea. A neighborhood crime-watch volunteer, George Zimmerman, said he acted in self-defense. He has not been arrested, though state and federal authorities are still investigating.

Protests have popped up nationwide in recent days, with thousands of people ? many of them wearing hoodies ? calling for action.

"This situation hit home for me because last Christmas, all my oldest son wanted as a gift was hoodies," Wade told The Associated Press on Friday from Auburn Hills, Mich., where the Heat were to play the Detroit Pistons. "So when I heard about this a week ago, I thought of my sons. I'm speaking up because I feel it's necessary that we get past the stereotype of young, black men and especially with our youth."

Wade and James decided Thursday to make their reactions about the Martin situation public, and James felt the best way to do that was the team photo with everyone wearing hoodies.

"Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Trayvon Martin for their loss and for everyone involved in this terrible tragedy," the Heat said in a statement Friday afternoon. "We support our players and join them in hoping that their images and our logo can be part of the national dialogue and can help in our nation's healing."

Earlier Friday, Fox News Channel commentator Geraldo Rivera said on "Fox & Friends" the hoodie Martin wore when he was killed was as much responsible for his death as the man who shot him. Rivera later said his comment was "politically incorrect."

Separately, a Florida state lawmaker, Rep. Alan Williams, a Democrat from Tallahassee, urged the Heat stars ? along with New York Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire, a central Florida native ? in an early Friday post on Twitter to wear hoodies during pregame warmups to call attention to the Martin story.

Such a move would not be permitted under the NBA's uniform policy, although Heat players are planning to pay tribute to Martin in some manner when they face the Pistons on Friday night.

"When you see Trayvon, when you see that image, he could be anybody's kid, black or white, Hispanic, Asian, what have you," Williams said in a telephone interview. "Basketball is a sport that kind of transcends race and class and all those things that divide us. For me, as a state representative, we have to go beyond the traditional routes that some people would take."

The NBPA called not only for Zimmerman's "prompt arrest," but a review of the Sanford Police Department.

"Their silence in the face of this injustice is reprehensible and they cannot be trusted to safe guard the citizens of the Sanford community equally," the NBPA said. "The NBPA seeks to ensure that Trayvon Martin's murder not go unpunished and the elimination of the injustices suffered by the innocent."

Stock Rater Sees Facebook On Par With Tech Titans

Facebook Inc. hasn't even begun trading as a public company but a New York firm with an unusual risk-analysis model rates the social networking giant's shares as highly as those of Intel Corp. (NYSE: INTC), Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL), Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG).

The reason, said Rapid Results Chief Executive James Gellert, is that his firm's econometric models are solid, meet 62 different ratios for soundness and appear financially stable.

Facebook, which claimed 845 million users when it registed its initial public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Feb. 1, has been rated 74 on a scale from 1 to 100, Gellert said.

In contrast, Rapid Results currently rates Intel, the world's leading maker of semiconductors, a 74; Apple is a 77, Google a 70 and Microsoft a 76.

Microsoft, a Rapid Results client, is a minority investor in Facebook but Gellert said that didn't generate any bias. The privately held ratings firm competes against the likes of Moody's Corp. (NYSE: MCO), McGraw-Hill's (NYSE: MHP) Standard & Poor's unit and other raters.

No Human Factors

Gellert said Rapid Ratings applied its econometric model to Facebook as it would for any other private or public company. Unlike other firms, its analysts don't visit management or rely on human factors, even for Facebook.

"Capital efficiency is what we look at," said Gellert, 43, an Asian-studies major who gravitated to Wall Street. Rapid Ratings depends on models first developed by Canadian economist Patrick Caragata, a veteran of government agencies in Canada, New Zealand and Australia as well as a former senior economist for Toronto-Dominion Bank.

Gellert acknowledged surprise that Facebook's revenue was only $3.7 billion last year (net income was $1 billion). He said growth from 2010 had been impressive, as had the company's ability to raise capital even when it wasn't required.

This month, Facebook filed an amended IPO registration with the SEC announcing it had doubled its credit line to $5 billion, with funds from 31 banks. The company also added a $3 billion bridge loan from J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS).

Future Ratings

Gellert said Rapid Ratings will examine each new financial report Facebook publishes before the IPO as well as after, then run it through the same rigorous analysis.

"Our methods won't change," he said. Facebook will get permanent coverage."

Gellert, by the way, is a Facebook user.

Shares of Facebook traded Tuesday at $41 on the private SharesPost exchange, in a block of 125,000. That's about the same price CEO Mark Zuckerberg would like to see in the IPO if the company raises $5 billion for a total valuation of $100 billion.
